Mr. Adelman has over 50 years of experience exclusively in the practice of hospital and health care law defending medical malpractice cases and serving as outside general counsel to multiple hospitals. He has served as special counsel for medical staff, credentialing, peer review, and hospital-physician issues for numerous other hospitals nationwide. His professional activities focus on the myriad problems hospitals face on a daily basis. He has been with Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman in Annapolis, Maryland since 2016.

Mr. Adelman grew up in Oklahoma but moved to the Washington, DC area in 1963. In 2003, he and his family moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and earned his JD from Catholic University Law School. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the American Health Lawyers Association from 1997-2007 and served as President of AHLA in 2005-2006.
