Senora D. Simpson
Dr. Simpson is currently an Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Therapy, Howard University College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions teaching Mental Health. Dr. Simpson is a certified MHFA and former Mental Health first aid instructor. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Public Health Administration (Mental Health Emphasis) and Boston University Sargent College in Physical Therapy. She has completed course work in Physics at Hunter College and Abnormal Psychology at George Washington University.
Dr. Simpson is currently the Chair of the DC Behavioral Health Council and has been an Instructor at George Washington University and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, School of Physical Therapy. She retired in 1989 as Director of Regional Operations for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
